Acne and Acne Scarring

Aerolase offers patients of all ages and skin types safe, effective, and tolerable treatment for acne and acne scarring using advanced 650-microsecond technology. NeoClear is a powerful acne treatment that eliminates the major factors causing acne including excess sebum production, inflammation, and destroy acne causing bacteria to help clear current acne breakouts and to stop them in the future.

Additionally, the deep heating energy stimulates collagen production, which can reduce the appearance of acne scars and leave skin looking radiant.

NeoClear produces minimal side effects and involves little to no downtime. The results are evident after just a single treatment.

Treatment times range from 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the severity and location of the acne.

Rosacea and Redness

Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes blushing or flushing, visible blood vessels and broken capillaries in your face. It may also produce small, pus-filled bumps. Aerolase effectively addresses these common conditions with deep penetrating energy that suppresses inflammation and coagulation of unwanted redness, veins and capillaries.

Treatment times range from 20-30 minutes.

Hyperpigmentation and Melasma

Hyperpigmentation occurs when your skin over produces melanin (the pigment responsible for skin and hair color) and shows up as spots darker than your natural skin tone. The three most common types of hyperpigmentation include:

Sun damage – Sun exposure causes a release of melanin, which is the reason that your skin turns darker after some time in the sun.

Melasma – Changes in hormones, birth control pills, and pregnancy can trigger melasma. This kind of hyperpigmentation typically appears as symmetric, blotchy patches on the face. Common areas include upper lip, forehead, and cheeks.

Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) – Injury or inflammation to the skin (in the form of acne, dermatitis, eczema, bug bites) can result in the development of dark brown, pink, or red spots.

Aerolase allows patients of all skin types to clear their hyperpigmentation. Aerolase’s energy is delivered into the dermis and epidermis to break up melanin deposits while shutting down vasculature and inflammation. Due to the unique parameters of the Aerolase energy, treatment is highly tolerable with minimal risk of adverse effects compared to traditional topical or device treatments for hyperpigmentation. Treatments are safe, effective, and tolerable for all skin types and all forms of hyperpigmentation.

Treatment times range from 20-30 minutes.

Skin Rejuvenation

Aerolase advances skin rejuvenation and tightening to new levels by enabling a comprehensive treatment that address tone and texture, redness, pigmentation, laxity, and other unwanted skin structures in a single treatment with a single device. This allows for a renewed the skin’s natural, youthful glow.

As skin ages there can be many changes that occur. Skin quality can worsen with enlarged pores, texture, and lax skin. Unwanted conditions such as redness, veins, sun damage, and age spots may show up. Whether you are looking to restore your clear, youthful skin or prevent signs of aging, NeoSkin can help achieve your skin goals. Aerolase stimulate collagen production, which reduces fine lines, pores, and tightens skin. Then, if present, NeoSkin targets melanin and hemoglobin to clear brown pigment, clear vascular lesions, and suppress inflammation.

Treatment times range from 30-60 minutes depending on what conditions need to be addressed and how large the treatment area is (face, neck, chest)

Ingrown Hairs (Pseudofolliculitis Barbae)

PFB (Pseudofolliculitis Barbae, i.e. ingrown hairs, razor bumps or beard bumps) is an irritating condition that is commonly caused by shaving. It is a common condition of the beard area occurring in patients of darker skin types including tannesd skin. It occurs in 60% of African American men and other people with curly hair. The problem results when highly curved hairs grow back into the skin causing inflammation and a foreign body reaction. Over time, this can cause keloid scarring which looks like hard bumps of the beard area and neck. Shaving sharpens the ends of the hairs like a spear. The hairs then curve back into the skin causing pseudofolliculitis barbae.

The Aerolase laser selectively targets melanin in the underlying hair and follicle, as well as hyperpigmentation surrounding the lesion.
